In the end, The Huffington Post is really no better than Drudge. For all the purported virtues of having a big liberal-leaning web outlet, it really is a borderline disgraceful enterprise with few positive attributes. I check it a lot -- hey, it's entertaining. But stuff like this is pretty much SOP for HuffPo; not only completely missing the boat on the more substantive issue of the day, but fabricating a storyline to act as the lead story.
